Who am I to own the Midnight Special?
My name is Ingvar Hansson, have just turned 50.
My interests in motors grew when I got my first moped, in the mid seventies. A lot of years have been wasted on motorcykles but i finally got bored with riding bikes, that was in the year of 2006.
One of my first dreamcars was Corvette convertible, it was really the coolest car on earth and I just had to have one. How could I know that it should remain a dream for almost 30 years before it came true?
This was my last (latest?) motorbike, a 2000 Ducati Monster 900Sie with a lot of modifications done by me.

When the Ducati was sold I bought my first american car, a 1958 Cadillac Series 62 Extended Deck.
This was in 2006.
Great car but it was too large for my garage and after a year I sold it to a danish family.

That´s what gave me the kick to buy the old dream, a 1973 Corvette convertible, this was in 2007,
That car was great fun, I bought it in Denmark and sold it back to Denmark two years later.

This was the time for me to fulfill another old dream, an 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, I found this in my neighborhood in 2009.
This car was assembled in Denmark and sold new in Sweden, I enjoyed a lot to investigate the history of this car.
In August of 201 I sold it to a young boy in Västerås, Christian Rundgren.

In the summer of 2010, I had an urge for a musclecar, the Bel Air was gone and I found this Camaro and that´s the reason for this site.

My plans is just to preserve the car and the roots of it.
The paint and the interior was done in 1982 and it shows the taste for paint and interior for that time.
I will make some minor improvements but mainly enjoy the car and it´s great performance.
